About the Journal

The Journal of Automation, Mobile Robotics and Intelligent Systems (JAMRIS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published quarterly in English. Established in 2007, the journal focuses on intelligent and autonomous systems, combining theoretical foundations, methodological advances, system design, experimental research and practical applications.

Aims and Scope

JAMRIS publishes original research articles, technical contributions and state-of-the-art studies in automation, systems and control, autonomous systems, mobile robotics, multi-agent systems, decision-making and decision support, mechatronics, artificial intelligence, computational intelligence, data science and emerging computing paradigms.

The journal welcomes research presenting original methodologies, validated results and significant scientific or engineering contributions within its scope.

Open Access and Publication Fees

JAMRIS provides immediate open access to all published content. Accepted manuscripts are subject to an Article Processing Charge (APC), determined by the manuscript's original submission date. Detailed information is available in the APC Payment Regulations.

Peer Review and Publication Ethics

The journal applies a double-blind peer review process and follows the COPE Core Practices. Published content is preserved through the Portico digital archiving system.

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International licence (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). Authors retain copyright.

JAMRIS is published four times per year, online and in print, by the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements PIAP, in cooperation with Paradigm Publishing Services.
