About the Journal

The Journal of Automation, Mobile Robotics and Intelligent Systems (JAMRIS) (ISSN 1897-8649 Print / 2080-2145 Online) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access quarterly that publishes original scientific work written in English. The journal focuses on intelligent and autonomous systems, combining theoretical foundations with methodological developments, system design and practical applications. We welcome research papers, technical contributions, surveys and position papers that advance artificial intelligence, computational intelligence, automation, robotics, decision-making and related intelligent technologies.

JAMRIS offers immediate and unrestricted open access to all published content.

Beginning 1 June 2025, accepted manuscripts are subject to a one-time Article Processing Charge (APC) of 200 EUR, which supports editorial handling, publication and long-term digital preservation. Before this date, publication was free of charge for authors.

The journal operates a double-blind peer review process and follows the COPE Core Practices. Publications are preserved through the Portico digital archiving system.

All articles appear under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International licence (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0), with authors retaining copyright.

JAMRIS is published four times per year, both online and in print, by the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements PIAP, in cooperation with the Paradigm Publishing Services.
